We have a new home!

After being happily moored for many years within the beautiful gardens of Hurst Park Avenue, the time has come to start a new chapter with a new berth. Over the past few months, Alex and Ruth have led conversations with our city partners to explore different options to meet our need for a new registered address, and deliveries and storage support. As a small charity, we were also interested in the possibility of finding co-working space so that our core team might work side-by-side on a regular basis, thereby reducing the environmental cost of email traffic and strengthening our day-to-day collaboration.

It was heartening to see the strength of goodwill amongst our city partners. The search sparked many conversations, meaning the process itself became an enriching and reassuring part of the puzzle.

We are delighted to share that we have now agreed a dual solution with Raspberry Pi Foundation and Cambridge Junction. Cambridge Junction will host our registered address, co-working, and meeting space, linking CCI with the many professional arts companies who call Junction their home. While Raspberry Pi will share workspace, storage, and secure delivery, ensuring much needed storage infrastructure and workspace, at their office on Hill’s Road. A big thank you to Matt Burman and Jess Weston at Cambridge Junction, and Philip Colligan, Kamila Hughes, Laurie Smith and Doru Szocs at Raspberry Pi for your welcome.
