Seeing the tree. Feeling the bark, sensing the connection it has with the world beneath my feet. We walk on it, but these magnificent living receptors have their "feet" reaching out underground and their "arms" reaching up and out.
Trees are part of the thoughts about the air, water, soil of our region, as we think about how we need to live respectfully with the geography of the region.
